METROLOGY SERVICES
Our vast metrology experience provides us with a skill set that enables us to support you throughout all your inspection needs. The items below give you an insight into the services we provide our customers. Each item is offered as an on-site or remote service.
CMM
We provide the option to have one of our team members come to you and act as a CMM operator. Alternatively, we can work off-site at our facility to carry out CMM inspection of your parts.
PORTABLE CMM
Our portable metrology tools enable us to support when CMM or scanning isn’t an option. Whether you require inspection to a 2D drawing or against a CAD model, we will provide you with all the detailed information you require.
SCANNING
In certain cases, noncontact inspection is the only option. With our scanning equipment, we can provide full inspection services to meet these needs. This could be the creation of an STL file, to a detailed inspection that compares CAD to the physical part.
CAD
In conjuction with our scanning service, we can transform your STL file into a solid model. Alternatively, we can work straight from your 2D drawings to produce a CAD model. In either case, we will ensure that models meet the supplier specifications before they get released to production.
CMM PROGRAMMING
Our knowledge spans over a multitude of CMM languages, including Verisurf, CMM Manager and PC-DMIS, which gives us the ability to support a wide range of CMM users. Whether it’s a one-off program you need or support with programming multiple parts, we can make sure that your CMM has no downtime.
ON-SITE PROGRAMMING
We come to you and program your part(s) in your environment. This option also allows us to train your operator on how to execute program(s) in real-time.
OFFLINE PROGRAMMING
We work offline and send you programs that your operator can ‘plug & play’. We also offer the service of delivering the program to you on-site.
CMM TRAINING
We offer basic and advanced training courses that will enable your team member(s) to transform from CMM operator to programmer.
FAI INTEGRATION
If your CMM data needs to be compiled into an FAI or in-process inspection report, we have the tools to make this step seamless.
AS9102 SUPPORT
We have worked very closely with a number of industry leaders, including Net-Inspect and InspectionXpert. From creating a wide range of tutorial videos for InspectionXpert, to conducting countless training courses and company implementations for Net-Inspect, we have the experience, knowledge and tools to support you through the AS9102 process.
ON-SITE SUPPORT
We come to your location and help work through your growing backlog of FAI’s. We can also work with you to create a seamless FAI process, which helps get you on the right track for all future projects.
WORKPLACE MENTORING
We offer both short and long-term initiatives, with the goal to improve the competency of your team members in their daily work environment without the burden of taking them from production.
SOFTWARE TRAINING
Depending on customer requirements, we offer a wide range of web-based and on-site training. These training classes can be tailored to achieve your specific goals and can include solution-based training on tools such as Net-Inspect and InspectionXpert.
REMOTE SUPPORT
You provide the required documentation and we create a complete FAI report. Deliverables include ballooned drawings / CAD and an Excel Workbook, or a direct publish to Net-Inspect for electronic submission to your end customer.
